Discover the infrastructure of IMIP’s Stricto Sensu Graduate Program

IMIP’s stricto sensu graduate program is supported by an extensive infrastructure, with 18 auditoriums and classrooms totaling 1,500 seats.

The Computer Lab accommodates up to 18 students and is equipped with internet-connected computers running word processing, spreadsheet, and statistical analysis software (Stata, Epi Info, and SPSS), as well as multimedia projection equipment for tutorial sessions.

Telemedicine Rooms

Telemedicine Rooms are fully equipped for real-time transmission and reception of high-definition audio and video, serving the entire IMIP network and partner institutions.

Science and Culture Center

The Science and Culture Center is an auditorium with a capacity of 700 people and a modern audiovisual sound system, hosting large-scale events such as congresses, conventions, conferences, telemedicine sessions, and musical performances.

Clinical Research Center

The Clinical Research Center features 10 wards totaling 20 beds, as well as 2 outpatient offices for follow-up of research subjects, and a room for sample collection and laboratory preparation.

Multiuser Translational Research Laboratory

The Multiuser Translational Research Laboratory, located within the Clinical Research Center, complements IMIP’s clinical and epidemiological research with infrastructure for basic and applied research.

It features shared technological platforms designed to support the translational research of IMIP’s various research groups, as well as other research institutions in Pernambuco with which IMIP maintains technical-scientific cooperation agreements.

The laboratory is equipped for the handling of biological agents, as well as for serological testing and Molecular and Cell Biology.
